Privacy

Last updated 2026-08-28. Plain language, not a wall of legalese — ask if anything here is unclear.

What we collect

A username (shown publicly next to everything you draw), an email, and a password — that's what signing up takes. Passwords are hashed before they're stored; we never have your plaintext password and can't look it up for you. Everything you draw is attributed to your account and kept as part of the board's public history, the same way anything on the board itself is public.

What we don't do

Payments, ads, and bot-checks

If ad-space or premium purchases are live, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — this site never sees or stores your card details. If ad slots are showing Google AdSense ads (rather than a slot someone purchased directly), Google's own privacy policy governs what that ad script collects; we don't control that. Signing up may also run a Cloudflare Turnstile check to block bots — Cloudflare processes some technical data (like your IP) to do that; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for what that covers.

Deleting your account

Delete your own account any time from My Stats → Delete account — you'll be asked to confirm your password first. It's immediate: your username, email, and password are wiped and you're logged out everywhere. Pixels you've already placed stay as part of the board's shared history, the same as they would if someone else painted over them, just no longer tied to your account. Trouble with it, or a question first: worldwidewhiteboardXD@gmail.com.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
